Use a Sealer to Prevent Shedding In Malaysian Body Wave Hair Extensions

Here’s a tip to help keep your Malaysian body wave hair extensions from fraying or shedding.  Also, be sure to read our top tips to keep hair from shedding and you will have a great process to Malaysian body wave hair from shedding. 

It is best to bond Malaysian deep wave hair extensions or straight hair extensions before wearing them.  We recommend Fray Check from Michaels Arts and Crafts shop or from Amazon.  It only costs a few bucks and a single bottle lasts forever. 

If you are sealing a hair weft, apply the glue to both sides of the band.  If you are using a clip-on piece then apply a small bead of the Fray Check to the Malaysian Body wave hair band which holds the hair onto the clip.  Apply it to each side of the band.  Don’t overdo and don’t use your fingers. Unlike other products, this glue dries clear so no one will notice it. 

Let the material dry for at least six hours, but event better, allow it dry overnight. The glue holds through washing.  You can wash your Malaysian body wave hair using the same process and products you use. Don’t worry about the Fray Check washing out as it holds up well to several washings.
